Product Description

Product Description

LIHUA IGBT induction heaters adopt the latest MOSFET, IGBT power units and frequency conversion control techniques with high efficiency, low energy consumption and higher output power. With constant current and constant power control function to greatly optimize the heating process of metals, realize efficient and fast heating, and fully exert the superiority of the products. Power consumption is half of traditional electron tube high frequency induction heating equipments under the same conditions. With 100% load design, can work for continuous 24-hour a day. Infrared temperature detector can be equipped to realize the automatic control of temperature, improve heating quality and simplify manual operation. With heating-insulating-cooling three stages function setting, the heating and insulating time required can be get to accommodate to the batch and repeated heating situations. With multiple status display of overflow, over voltage, low water, phase failure and load malfunction, providing higher reliability and sustainability. Select power supply according to the power and frequency. The higher the frequency, the shallower the heating depth, and the lower the frequency, the better the diathermancy.

Heating principle

The principle of high frequency induction heating is that apply high frequency alernating current to a conduct that is curled to cyclic (normally copper tube) to produce flux, then put the metal to this area to make the flux to run through it, and eddy current will be generated in the deriction of self-capturing with flux(rotary current), the induced current then generates heat under the influence of the eddy current, so this heating method is called induction heating. hence, metal and other objects under heated can be heated without contact. at this moment, the character of the eddy current relies in that the induction heating on the object nearby the coil is outwardly strong but inwardly weak. with this principle. this heating body can be concentratedly heated where needed to achieve instantly effect, thereby the production output and work capacity are both improved.

Product Uses

Application of Induction heating equipment:

Heating (hot forging, hot fitting and smelting):
  • Hot forging aims to fabricate the work pieces of certain temperature (different materials require different temperatures) into other shapes through forging press with the help of punch press, forging machine or other equipments for instances, hot extrusion of watch case, watch flan, handle, mold accessory, kitchen and table ware, art ware, standard part, fastener, fabricated mechanical part, bronze lock, rivet, steel pin and pin.
  • Hot fitting refers to the connection of different metals or metals with nonmetals through the heating based on the principle of hot expansion or hot smelting, for instances, embedded welding of copper core of computer radiator with aluminum sheet and speaker web, compound of steel and plastic tube, sealing of aluminum foil (tooth paste peel) motor rotor and sealing of tubular electric heating element.
  • melting mainly aims to melt the metal into liquid by using the high temperature, which is applicable to the smelting of iron, steel, copper, aluminum, zinc as well as various noble metals.

Heat treatment (surface quenching):

It’s mainly aims to change the rigidity of the metal materials through the heat treatment to work pieces. Detail applications are stated as follows:
  • Quench for various hardware and tools, such as pliers, wrench, hammer, ax, screwing tools and shear (orchard shear).
  • Quench for various automobile and motorcycle fittings, such as crankshaft, connection rod, pinton pin, chain wheel, aluminum wheel, valve, rock arm shaft, small shaft and fork. Various electric tools, such as axes and gear.
  • Quench for machine tools, such as lache deck and guide rail.
  • Quench for various hardware metal parts and machined parts, such as shaft gear (chain wheel) cam, chuck and clamp. Etc.
  • Quench for hardware molds, such as small size mold, mold accessory and inner hole of mold

Welding (brazes welding, silver soldering and brazing):

It’s mainly aims to melt the solder by heating it to a certain temperature for the purpose of connecting to types of metals of the same material or different materials.
  • Welding of various hardware cutting tools, such as diamond tool, abrasive tool, drilling tool, alloy saw blade, hard alloy cutter, milling cutter, reamer, planning tool and solid center bit.
  • Welding of various hardware mechanical gadgets, silver soldering and brazing of metals of the same varieties, such as hardware toilet and kitchen products refrigerating copper fitting, lamp decoration fitting, precision mold fitting, hardware handle, eggbeater, alloy steel and steel, steel and copper as well as copper and copper.
  • Compound pot bottom welding is mainly applicable to the braze welding circular, square as well as other irregular plain pot bottom. It is also applicable to plain braze welding of other metals.
  • Welding of heating disc of electric hot-water kettle mainly refers to the braze welding stainless steel flat base, aluminum sheet and tubular electric heating elements of various forms.

Annealing (tempering and modulation):

  • Annealing of various stainless steel products, such as stainless steel basin, annealed and extruded can, annealed folded edge, annealed sink, stainless steel tube, tableware and cup.
  • Annealing of various other metal work pieces, such as golf ball head, cue, brass lock, hardware copper fitting, kitchen knife handle, blade, aluminum pan, aluminum pail, aluminum radiator and various aluminum products.

Q: Why use induction heating?

A: 1,Induction Heating is a GREEN process as it does not emit fumes or CO2 into the environment, emissions are controlled by the electricity generating company at one site and are easy to monitor.

2, The result of only a small proportion of the material being heated, commonly less than 5% of the mass being heated to accomplish the required properties, then there is less energy consumed, overall, to heat treat the component when compared with conventional furnace heat treatment methods.

3, Again due to the small areas heated there is a considerably reduced heat treatment distortion so much so that the majority of the components we heat treat are ready for assembly after heat treatment.

4, Grinding costs can constitute 25 - 30% of the total cost of a component. Modern CNC lathes can turn components more accurately to size than they can be ground and with a better surface finish. Save money by specifying induction hardening.

5, Some components require some areas to remain soft after heat treatment. This can only be achieved in a furnace by stopping off the component. The stopping off technique alone is usually more expensive than the cost of the induction hardening process and the induction process only hardens the portions required to be hard.

Q: Why choose induction brazing?

A:Induction heating technology is steadily displacing open flames and ovens as the preferred heat source in brazing. 6 key reasons explain this growing popularity.

1, Speedier solution. Induction heating transfers more energy per square millimeter than an open flame. Put simply, induction can braze more parts per hour than alternative processes.

2, Quicker throughput. Induction is ideal for in-line integration. Batches of parts no longer have to be taken aside or sent out for brazing. Electronic controls and customized coils let us integrate the brazing process into seamless production processes.

3, Consistent performance. Induction heating is controllable and repeatable. Enter your desired process parameters into the induction equipment, and it will repeat heating cycles with only negligible deviations.

4, Unique controllability.Induction lets operators view the brazing process, something that is difficult with flames. This and precise heating minimize the risk of overheating, which causes weak joints.

5, More productive environment. Open flames uncomfortable working environments. Operator morale and productivity suffer as a result. Induction is silent. And there is virtually no increase in ambient temperature.

6, No-contact process. Induction produces heat within the base metals —and nowhere else. It’s a no-contact process; the base metals never come into contact with flames. This protects the base metals from warping, which in turn increases yield and product quality.

Q: How to choose a suitable induction heater?

A: Induction heaters have many different modles with different power and frequency.

1, The higher power, the faster of the heating speed. so if you want to heat fast then you'd better choose a high power induction heater.

2, The higher frequency, the lower of the heating layer. So for some surface hardening, we suggest use a higher frequency heater, for some entire heating (like forging and melting) we suggest to use low frequency heater.

3, If you are not sure of which model is suitable for your work, please ask our salesman for suggestion before you place an order.
